Job

This year I changed schools. It was a rough start, but I am starting to find my place and my role at my new school. I am still teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages but now I am at a school that has 70% ESL students as opposed to my previous school that was 16% ESL. I am spending more of my time teaching teachers at my new school. You would think it would be the other way around, that these teachers would be better at teaching ESL students but that does not seem to be the case for most. I have to say that I prefer teaching teachers. It is a more challenging job as most adults do not want to be taught. I am working on the art of subtly as I work to teach teachers.
