Kenny Rogers

Today Davin said he would go with me to the track. When we got there he declared the race "on". I told him I wasn't racing him but off he went. He managed to lap me right at his one mile mark. He ran a 12:55 mile!!!!  Wow! My fastest mile so far has been in the 14 minute range. He ran a little bit with me last week one day but this pace came out of the blue. I am proud of him. I asked him what music he was listening to as he ran that pace and he said Kenny Rogers. haha!! He hates country but the only country he will listed to is Kenny Rogers, Davin knows all the words to KR's songs from listening to them day in and day out when he worked at Kenny Rogers Roasters in Kansas City (a Boston Market type place). He said, "Imagine what I could do if I was listening to Drowning Pool." My favorite running tunes are by Queen.
